An experienced Finance Manager is required to take full ownership and responsibility for the day-to-day finances of two companies within the group, with a combined turnover of £5 million. This is a great opportunity to join a successful and growing firm, based in modern and fully refurbished offices.
Key Duties include:
1. Overseeing Purchase and Sales Ledger, credit control, reconciliations, and statutory compliance
2. Assisting in bringing payroll in-house and overseeing all payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC and pension regulations
3. Producing monthly management accounts, annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
4. Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
You will work closely with the MD, continuously reviewing and improving financial processes, and leveraging AI to drive efficiencies. You must be tech-savvy, as the MD is a big fan of AI. Experience with Sage 50 (essential) and strong Excel skills are required, along with experience working in a small company environment. Currently, this is a standalone role, but as the company grows, there may be staff management responsibilities.
Experience in a similar role, along with excellent interpersonal skills and confidence, is key!
