I am working with a client who is on the lookout for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the finance team. This is an all-encompassing role and they will want someone who has good experience and will be able to hit the ground running. You will be joining a small finance team carrying out Purchase Ledger duties. These will include:
1. Processing, matching, and batching invoices
2. End-to-end invoice processing
3. Carrying out reconciliations
4. Dealing with supplier queries and problem-solving
5. Balancing accounts
6. Ensuring information is logged onto the system accurately
What you'll need to succeed
Previous Purchase Ledger experience is essential. You will have a keen eye for detail, be able to solve issues, and meet deadlines. Experience entering data into a financial system is required, and the ability to hit the ground running is important. Knowledge of SAGE 200 would be beneficial but is not essential.
