Our client, a leading engineering provider in Portland, Dorset, is seeking a proactive and influential Management Accountant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain strong financial controls and disciplines
Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and ad‑hoc financial reports
Deliver timely and insightful management information to support decision‑making
Provide reliable forecasting and reporting to key stakeholders, adapting to business changes
Work closely with the wider business to manage cashflow and proactively identify risks
Build strong working relationships and present confidently at all levels
Maintain compliance with financial policies, standards, and processes
Communicate financial information effectively to non‑finance managers
Champion best‑practice finance processes and drive continuous improvement
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial dataRequirements:
CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified (QBE considered)
Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting roles
Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
Adaptable, positive, and keen to support the ongoing development of the finance function
Experience in long‑term project accounting under IFRS 15
