Reporting directly to the Lead Psychologist, you will be responsible for individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, MDT working, and risk assessments. You will also facilitate staff reflective practice sessions and be requested to design and deliver training.
As a Psychologist, you will have experience and knowledge in carrying a service user’s caseload, including assessing complex needs and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatments to support their care plans.

As a Psychologist you will be:
* Participating in the assessment of referrals and providing initial assessments for service users.
* Undertaking high-quality direct (assessment & therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory, and evaluative) psychological interventions, making autonomous clinical decisions.
* Working therapeutically with service users with complex presentations, using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi-structured clinical methods.
* Formulating and implementing treatment plans based on a multi-factorial psychological understanding and current evidence-based practices.
* Being professionally and legally responsible for all aspects of clinical work and care.
* Maintaining high standards of care in accordance with HCPC Code of Conduct, professional guidelines, and company policies.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* BPS-recognized psychology degrees
* HCPC registration
* Chartered Psychologist status and relevant postgraduate qualifications
* Approval as a supervisor within BPS guidelines
* Understanding of evidence-based psychological practice
* Experience applying psychological knowledge in forensic/clinical settings
* Experience working with clients with cognitive deficits
* Research and project work experience
