Facilities Coordinator
Colchester Institute has an exciting opportunity in the education sector!
We are seeking a proactive and highly motivated Facilities Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in planning and delivering a wide range of small works and reactive maintenance projects across all college sites. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong coordination skills, a focus on service delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
About the Role:
1. Act as the main point of contact for all external parties and coordinate reactive maintenance works, including arranging estimates, raising purchase orders, and processing invoices.
2. Visit college premises to conduct building inspections and coordinate necessary works.
3. Manage documentation files for all works undertaken, utilizing shared files and systems.
Essential Requirements:
1. Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics (e.g., GCSE 4+ or CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent).
2. Education to Level 3 or above and/or a professional qualification in a relevant subject area or equivalent.
Essential Experience:
1. Excellent customer service skills.
2. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 systems, including SharePoint, Teams, Word, and Excel.
3. Familiarity with facilities documentation such as O&M manuals, drawings, and engineering reports.
