Ardingly College is currently seeking to recruit a Laundry Assistantto deliver and maintain a high and consistent standard of laundry service to the pupils, staff and guests of the College.
Duties include:
* Operating laundry equipment
* Sort, wash and dry items of laundry to manufacturer's instruction
* Sort, iron, fold, bag and label items of laundry ready for collection
* Provide assistance with the preparation of boarding houses and accommodation units with the movement of bedding and making beds if requested.
Previous experience of working in a commercial or school laundry is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
Working hours are:
7.15am to 3.45pm during term time (34 weeks per year)
8.00am to 12.00pm - during the school holidays.
Salary £19,674.50 per annum
All staff are provided with free meals and have access to our swimming pool, gym and other wellbeing activities.
