The Role
You’ll be a smart, friendly and enthusiastic member of the team providing vital administrative support. Your IT and organisational skills will be supported by an excellent telephone manner. You will interact with Consultants, patients, and colleagues, being sensitive to our customers’ needs and providing excellent customer service. Administration and keyboard skills are required and previous experience of working in a customer service environment is preferred, but not essential. Full training will be provided. Duties will include:
* Provide administrative support across a range of areas, including customer facing environments.
* Ensure all work within this complex area of administration and support meets required standards and timescales, following GDPR policies and meeting CQC requirements.
* Organise workload flexibly and efficiently within reasonable timescales.
* Handle all inquiries or queries raised efficiently and escalate appropriately where necessary.
* Prepare invoices and contact patients for payments prior to their procedures.
* Ensure all data/information is entered, modified, maintained, and presented accurately using appropriate electronic or manual systems.
* Manage and maintain accurate records and databases.
The Person
Be a confident, customer-focused communicator with the ability to manage, appraise, and interpret data effectively.
Ideally, be educated to GCSE in English and Maths, with NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent.
Possess good IT and keyboard skills.
Experience within an administrative or customer-facing environment would be advantageous.
Experience within a hospital or healthcare environment is preferred.
Be self-motivated, proactive, and experienced in delivering excellent service.
