Your new company You will be working on a major UK nuclear infrastructure project delivered by a leading Tier 1 contractor. The programme operates under stringent Nuclear Licence Conditions and regulated safety frameworks, requiring the highest standards of governance, assurance and electrical safety leadership. Your new role As Electrical Authorised Person (AP(E)), you will take overarching responsibility for managing and coordinating electrical safety across the project in line with approved procedures. You will provide day‑to‑day leadership, governance and assurance to ensure compliance with Nuclear Licence Conditions, QMS and project delivery requirements.The role involves close liaison with engineering, construction, quality, commissioning teams and the client, alongside active management and auditing of contractors and authorised persons. You will coordinate isolations, energisations, permits, and electrical safety documentation, supporting a safe transition from construction through commissioning and start‑up.You will also train, assess, appoint and audit AP(E)s, maintain registers, review and approve SSoW, energisation requests and contractor documentation, and support the operation of the M&E Permit Office for live electrical activities.
