Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based near Victoria.CBW is currently recruiting for a Fabric Maintenance Engineer to be based across circa 16 sites within a team of 9 engineers, all of which are within 1 square mile and walking distance from one another. This is a very client-facing position and my client is looking for someone with a good attitude and a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance.
He or she will be required to carry out fabric planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites. Working with the maintenance team on-site, he or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below. Package & Working hours
Up to £35,000
Christmas Bonus - £700
Monday to Friday 08:00 am – 17:00 pm

General fabric repairs
Furniture moves porterage
Painting & Decorating
Basic lighting
Fixing Furniture
Hanging Pictures & Shelves
Maintain and update Log books
Assist the maintenance team on site e.g PPMs, fire alarm tests, tap temp checks, flushing
Escort sub-contractors
To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks, making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.Requirements
Painting & Decorating qualification or background (Desirable)
Knowledge of commercial building maintenance
An understanding of most building fabric duties
Good communication skills
Health & Safety experience
Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
Ability to deliver excellent customer service
