As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver tailored learning programmes designed to meet the diverse needs of pupils with a range of additional needs. You will work closely with support staff, therapists, and school leaders to ensure every student receives the guidance and personalised support they require to thrive. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEN. Create a positive, nurturing, and structured learning environment. Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and external professionals. Implement EHCP targets and monitor pupils’ academic and developmental progress. Use a range of teaching strategies to support students with ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties, and other additional needs. Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and communication with parents/carers. Support pupils’ social and emotional development through consistent routines and strategies. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience teaching or supporting students with SEN. Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices. Patience, compassion, and resilience when supporting students with complex needs. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
