Division info:
The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.
Summary of position:
To set and operate a range of CNC controlled machinery within the company as required by
specifications.
Salary: Starting rate from. to. as per level of experience + shift premium of % for 3 shifts availability + Overtime paid at or x2 dependant on availability.
CNC Machinist potential up to £.ph following internal training and experience.

Schedules & Easy Access:
• Week starts on Sunday : and finishes on Friday. for night shift
• Week starts on Monday. and finishes on Friday. for morning shift
• Week starts on Monday. and finishes on Friday. for afternoon shift

Main responsibilities:
• Setting and operating CNC machines including.
o DMG DMC U
o WFL / WFL
o MAZAK E
o MAZAK Integrex i-
o CINCINNATI FTV5
o UNION TC
o TOS VARNSDORF WHNMC
o MCM tank 0 MP ( pallets)
• Production of precision machined components and tooling items as required
• Checking the quality of components produced throughout the batch cycle
• Accurate recording of quantities and time allocation using company systems
• Carry out regular maintenance of the machines as per company schedules
Qualifications:
• The role will involve setting and operating a variety of CNC 3/4/5 axis Milling machines, dealing with Aluminium, Steel and Titanium components to tight tolerances.
• Must have good level of understanding in using either Fanuc / Heidenheim / Mazatrol / Siemens machine control systems; and also willing to develop further CNC machining skills and abilities.
• Carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by Senior Management.
