I have recently started working on a role with a top 40 clients of mine who are looking to add a corporate tax assistant manager to their growing team. The firm is based in London but has offices around the UK. With over 400+ employees, they provide a wide range of services to their corporate and private clients. They offer audit, accounting, taxation, and transactional services to their clients. This firm is a partner-led and personable firm who hold themselves to a high level of technical expertise and their client care.
Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small to medium-sized clients,panies, partnerships, sole traders and directors, and will be assisted by junior members of the team. This role is morepliance focused but will offer the right candidate the opportunity to do more advisory work in the future. In this role you will be preparing and reviewing ie taxputations and returns for sole traders and partnerships. You will also do the same for personal tax returns. The role will have you involved in the training and development of junior members of staff as well.
What you'll need to succeed
1. The candidate must be CTA qualified. If not, then you must be towards the end of the qualification.
2. Being ACCA or ACA qualified would be beneficial.
3. Ideally, you will have 2–3 years of UK corporate tax experience within a practice environment.
4. Must be an excellentmunicator, both written and verbal.
