What You’ll Do
* Lead the design and delivery of robust Cyber Security Architectures and Solutions that safeguard Vodafone and its customers against evolving threats. Provide support to pre-sales and project teams that sell, build and run managed security services, including Security Monitoring, SOC & SIEM services, managed firewall and IDS/IPS.
* Deliver in-depth technical support to pre-sales, Solution Consultants and project teams
* Collaborate with customer architecture and design teams to understand their requirements
* Evaluate new cyber security technologies; manage reference/test environment
* Develop tools/processes to defend Vodafone and its customers from cyber threats
* Provide 3rd line support to Cyber Engineering and Operations team
Who You Are
* Experience of working as an IT/Network/Security Architect, ideally in a telecoms/ISP environment (5yrs)
* In-depth understanding of Networking and Cyber Security Technologies
* Proficient in Linux, Windows, VMWare, Cisco IOS
* Experience of evaluating and implementing new cybersecurity technologies
* Capable of bespoke tool development for threat detection and mitigation
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
* Must be able to maintain DV security clearance
