What does a Cover Supervisor do?
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher and ensure students remain engaged and on task.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Supervising pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects
* Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
* Delivering instructions clearly and confidently
* Supporting students with their work (no planning or marking required)
* Reporting back to the school on lesson outcomes
You won’t be expected to teach new content, just to lead the class and keep learning on track.
