As a Utilities Capital Projects Manager, you will:
6. Work alongside our clients, understanding their challenges and bringing your large capital projects expertise to guide them through to success
7. Use your structured and innovative problem-solving skills to find the right solution for our clients
8. Have a deep analytical capability to deliver data driven consulting
9. Recommend and use the best tools to answer our Clients unique questions
10. Draw insights through your well-developed quantitative skills e.g. financial analysis, market data analysis, etc.
11. Project manage and use your experience with delivery methods such as Agile, Lean, and Design Thinking to drive success
12. Leverage your relationship and stakeholder management skills to accomplish team objectives
13. Communicate with excellence (written, conversational and presentation delivery)
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
14. Good level of industry experience in capital projects; particularly with a focus in any of the following: renewables, nuclear, energy transmission & distribution, transport, and built environment
15. Familiar with the capital projects lifecycle and Engineering, Procurement and Construction tools and methods
16. Proficiency in contractor management, procurement, supply chain or logistics
17. Project and programme delivery for high complexity, large scale capital projects
18. Knowledge of emerging digital technologies and their impact on capital project success
19. An aptitude for data and analysis
20. Leadership experience managing teams both from a project delivery and personal development perspective
21. Extensive project management experience delivering high complexity projects on time and to Client satisfaction
22. Strong consulting experience with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
