Position
Part-timePediatric Registered Nurse in Cambridge,ONevery Saturday & Sunday 08:00-16:00.
Please note:If you cannot commit to the weekly schedule, we will not be able to accept your application.
General Duties (specific duties may vary based on individual client needs)
* Seizure management
* Enteral feeds
* Administer and document medications as prescribed, following CNO medication administration standards
* Monitor and maintain the safekeeping of drugs and narcotics
* Maintain child's records and required documentation in accordance with CNO standards
* Assist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living
* Observe and report on changes in child's condition to guardian and WeeCare
* Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and adaptive aids
* Demonstrate understanding of child’s needs and maximize abilities
* Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child/parent/guardian
* Respond to child/parent/guardian concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken
* Assist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including child’s equipment and belongings
* Notify supervisor of any concerns impacting child’s safety, incidents, and accidents
* Complete all other tasks as assigned
Requirements
* Licensed and in good standing with the CNO
* Seizure management experience
* Experience working with pediatrics
* Current BLS certification
* Vulnerable Sector Check within the past 6 months
* Professional Liability Insurance

* Every Saturday & Sunday
* 08:00-16:00
* Day shift
* Weekend shift
