Overview
Society is in your hands, what are you waiting for? We are looking for two talented and motivated Graduate Ecologists to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in ecological consultancy. We work with a hybrid model which for us typically means at least 3 days in the office or on site.
Responsibilities
* Undertake ecological surveys (habitat surveys and surveys for legally protected species).
* Assist with report writing, liaising with clients, contractors, and the general public to support land use and ecology points for BREEM assessments.
* Produce habitat and other survey plans and carry out Ecological Clerk of Works duties.
Requirements
* Degree in Ecology or an Ecology-related subject; fresh graduates or candidates with relevant experience considered.
* Positions based in Cambridge, London or Ipswich offices; willingness to travel to sites and other offices; a full driver’s licence is required.
* Occasional work outside usual office hours (e.g., bat surveys may require night work; reptile surveys/mitigation may require early morning or evening site visits).
