A rare opportunity has arisen to join our team as an IT Technical Support Administrator to help us in supporting and developing the IT landscape.
As a Support Administrator you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users. Your duties will include responding to incoming service requests, diagnosing and resolving technical problems and escalating more complex issues to the relevant teams. You will also be responsible for documenting support interactions and maintaining a knowledge base around solutions.
Responsibilities of this job are a combination of Day-to-day operational support and assisting project work to improve the IT architecture, this could include:
Respond to IT Incidents & requests by providing support face to face and remotely to local and global users.
Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on PC’s, Desktops, Laptops, Servers and network equipment with the help of other AluK IT teams or external partners/vendors.
Ensuring that any technical issues on any service ticket are escalated efficiently and resolved promptly either through the Team Lead, 2nd line team or a support vendor.
Monitoring and triaging incoming support tickets in line with existing SLA.
Provide excellent levels of customer service at all times.
There will also be an opportunity for you to support with ongoing projects for e.g:
· As a member of an international team, you will take part in or assist in projects delivering new IT solutions on a global scale.
· To provide end-user guidance and training on new initiatives/changes impacting their IT work environment.
Ideally you will have:
* Minimum of 1–2-year experience in a 1st Line position or similar role.
* Providing support using an ITSM tool, telephony and remote assistance.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (10/11)
* Knowledge of Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint & Onedrive)
* Experience of supporting end user devices (Printers, Mobiles & Tablets)
* Active Directory Administration experience.
Salary – up to £26,000 per annum depending on experience
