This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, reliable, and motivated administrator who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and supporting vital mental health services. Main Duties and Responsibilities Deliver high-quality secretarial and administrative support to the Community Mental Health Team Undertake reception duties, welcoming visitors and handling incoming calls and enquiries professionally Produce and format correspondence, reports, and documentation using Microsoft Office packages Take and transcribe minutes at team meetings with accuracy and attention to detail Manage electronic and manual diaries, arranging meetings and coordinating appointments Assist with data entry, collation, and reporting using MS Excel Uphold the principles of confidentiality and data protection at all times Essential Criteria Option 1: 4 GCSEs (Grades AC) including English Language (or equivalent) Minimum 1 year's paid clerical experience in an office setting, including use of Microsoft Office 1 year's minute-taking experience (for some posts) OR Option 2: English GCSE (Grades AC) or equivalent Minimum 2 years' paid clerical experience in an office setting, including use of Microsoft Office 1 year's minute-taking experience (for some posts) Experience must include: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Diary management (manual and electronic) Meeting organisation and support Data input, extraction, and presentation Additionally, candidates must have: RSA/OCR Stage II Typing/Word Processing (both parts) or equivalent qualification OR 1 years' experience in ICT, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email Skills and Knowledge Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong team-working and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines Understanding of confidentiality, record management, and data accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Why Work for the Northern Trust?
