Hourly rate: £13.45 (including Real Living Wage Supplement)

Contract hours: 37 hrs


Come and join our team

We are looking for committed individuals who are willing to learn and develop knowledge, skills and experience within one of the teams providing day‑to‑day administrative and general support to operational service delivery teams.

We are looking for someone who is well‑organised, is computer literate and comfortable using a range of computer systems. Having excellent communication skills and a willingness to use their initiative to work on their own will be important to the role.

* The right training and support to fulfil the role, this will include online e‑learning, face‑to‑face training and shadowing.
* At the end of the fixed‑term contract, there may be opportunities to be appointed to a role subject to availability, suitability and individual performance.


As part of the recruitment process you will need to

* Attend an online recruitment session on Thursday 16 or Friday 17 July 2026.
* If you are successful, you will be invited to attend an interview with the team on the 6th or 7th August 2026.
* You must be available for these dates as no alternative dates will be available.

The Welsh language is integral to the identity of Carmarthenshire and its people. If you don't currently meet the Welsh language standard that we need for this role, we will work together on your Welsh language journey and help you develop the skills needed to succeed in this position. Level 3 – you will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
