I'm recruiting for a Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager on behalf of a growing food company based in Staffordshire. As part of a large-scale, award winning food manufacturing group, joining this company would enhance your existing portfolio, from being part of a strong and reputable company to working with new innovative product categories. In this role, you will play a key role in identifying, managing, and reducing risk across site operations, with a genuine influence over employee health, safety, and wellbeing, as well as product integrity and overall business performance. The environment is fast-paced and hands-on, but well suited to someone with strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and prior manufacturing experience. You will work within a supportive, cross-functional team, collaborating with colleagues across the food manufacturing operation to ensure Health and Safety compliance and a proactive, positive safety culture. The scope and visibility of the role also provide an excellent platform for career progression, supporting continued development within health and safety.
Responsibilities
* Identify, manage, and reduce risk across site operations with influence on employee health, safety, wellbeing, product integrity, and overall business performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Health and Safety compliance and foster a proactive safety culture.
What’s on offer
* Salary: £65,000 + 5% bonus
* Location: Staffordshire, England
* Hours: 8.30am – 5pm
