The Role: Branch Manager – Fire Safety Specialist

My client is a leading name in Property Services and they are growing at pace across the UK. To support their continued growth, we are looking for a dynamicBranch Manager– Fire Specialist to take the helm of their Bristol branch. You’ll lead a skilled team delivering FRA led contracts - passive fire controls, compliance, fire door installation projects etc. — driving efficiency, safety, and excellence every step of the way.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Ensure safe working environments across all contracts, aligned with fire safety and H&S standards
2. Collaborate on mobilisation plans, procurement, and project timelines
3. Manage and motivate both in-house operatives and subcontractors
4. Deliver customer promises with service, quality, and reliability
5. Oversee resource planning, inspections, compliance systems and processes, and productivity systems
6. Recruit, mentor, and develop site-based staff — from apprentices to supervisors
7. Act as a key link between operational delivery and senior leadership
8. Uphold best practices in passive fire protection and regulatory compliance
What We’re Looking For
9. SMSTSandIOSHqualifications (essential)
10. IFE Certification in Passive Fire Protection
11. NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate
12. Strong knowledge offire protection systems,passive fire compliance, andFire Safety Legislation
13. Experience delivering FRA led contracts, Fire Stopping, and Fire Door Projects
14. Clear communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative management style
15. Project management capabilities including budget control, timelines, and procurement
16. Solid commercial understanding and cost-awareness
17. Full UK driving licence
18. Relevant qualifications such NVQ L6 in Construction Management or HNC in Construction
