Role Overview
As a Secondary Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a broad, balanced, and engaging Mathematics curriculum across KS3 and KS4. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students of all abilities, promoting confidence, resilience, and problem‑solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high‑quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
Teach in line with the national curriculum, ensuring strong progress and attainment
Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND
Assess, monitor, and support student progress where required
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Contribute positively to the Maths department and wider school community
Uphold professional standards, safeguarding expectations, and school ethos
Requirements
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent secondary teaching qualification)
Have experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school setting
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective teaching strategies
Exhibit strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Be professional, reliable, and adaptable
Show a genuine passion for Mathematics and student achievement
Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
Have the right to work in the UK
Pay & Benefits
£170–£235 per day, dependent on experience and pay scale
