Potentia Search is partnered with an award-winning membrane technology company involved in water treatment, wastewater reuse, and potable water production. They are seeking a talented Regional Sales Manager to grow their presence in the UK & Ireland.
The Regional Sales Manager contributes to achieving sales targets set by the Sales Director. The role involves customer contact with new and existing clients in the Water Business, selling membrane modules to OEMs, municipal, and industrial customers. Generating new leads and maintaining a network of stakeholders in the water sector are also key responsibilities.
How can you contribute?
The role's purpose is to manage and expand sales activities, find new leads, and develop lasting relationships within the water segment. The Sales Manager reports to the Sales Director for Northern, Western, and Eastern Europe. Responsibilities include:
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships based on trust and cooperation with clients in the region.
* Preparing and submitting proposals and quotations.
* Coordinating sales activities and communicating customer needs with other departments.
* Attending trade fairs and preparing samples and promotional materials.
* Maximizing sales and gross margin of standard products.
* Negotiating and closing sales contracts.
* Generating sales opportunities and leads.
* Supporting engineers during project delivery and implementation.
* Providing market feedback on industry developments, competitors, and trends.
* Following up on offers and recording in CRM (Salesforce).
Who are you?
* BSc. or MSc. in a technical or technical/commercial field.
* Experience in a sales-driven role.
* Experience in the water industry, especially membrane technology, is desirable.
* Experience with CRM systems for managing sales processes.
* Strong time management skills.
* Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
* Willingness to travel for customer contact and site visits.
