Job Overview
Dermatology see a variety of patients including children for dermatologic conditions. This role is a developmental post for a enthusiastic and dynamic nurse to learn more about patients who are suffering with a variety of skin conditions such as Psoriasis, Eczema, Acne, hidradenitis Suppurativa.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and undertaking of a variety of investigations such as patch testing and assessments for severity of a condition.
* Assist in planning and implementation of treatment plans.
* Regular monitoring and guidance for patients receiving biologic and systemic treatments, including coordination with patients, pharmacy and healthcare at home providers.
* Deliver care to patients within the Dermatology clinics, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care during duty.
* Manage own patient group and workload with support of Dermatology Clinical Nurse Specialists.
Qualifications
* Registered nurse.
* Enthusiastic and dynamic nursing professional with a passion for dermatology.
