Quality Inspector (Mechanical / Training on CMM)
Location and Hours
Motherwell – Monday to Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; Friday finish at 1:00 pm (37 hours per week)
Salary
£35,000 – £40,000, plus overtime (OTE £56,000)
About the Company
Founded over 50 years ago, this machining company supplies parts to the oil & gas, offshore, power and marine industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Use hand measuring tools (calipers, micrometres, etc.) to perform quality checks on precision engineering components.
* Perform machining tasks including milling, turning, and grinding.
* Receive full training on Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
Required Skills and Experience
* Quality inspector with mechanical background.
* Experience with hand measuring tools.
* Proactive and able to work in a busy workshop environment.
