We’re partnering with a highly respected, award-winning full-service agency to find an experienced Account Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. The Role
As Account Manager, you’ll be the key connector between clients and internal teams. You’ll own day-to-day relationships, oversee end-to-end campaign delivery, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a consistently high creative standard. You’ll also be encouraged to think strategically, spot opportunities, and help grow accounts through added-value thinking.
This is a hands-on, visible role suited to someone confident working both independently and collaboratively in an agency setting.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management
* Act as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients, building strong, trusted relationships
* Lead client meetings, presentations, and regular status updates
* Interpret, challenge, and shape client briefs to fully understand objectives
* Manage evolving client needs and expectations, ensuring a consistently high level of service
Project & Campaign Delivery
* Brief and coordinate creative, digital, media, strategy, and production teams
* Manage multiple projects and integrated campaigns across various channels
* Ensure briefs are clear, well-structured, and aligned to client goals
* Facilitate internal meetings and maintain clear communication across teams
* Develop scopes of work, timelines, critical paths, and client quotes
* Monitor resourcing and proactively manage risks and issues
* Produce contact reports with clear actions and next steps
* Review creative output and provide constructive feedback
* Ensure timely delivery of post-campaign reports
Financial & Commercial Management
* Produce costings and manage client budgets effectively
* Track time and spend against budgets, addressing variances as needed
* Identify opportunities for additional revenue and account growth
* Proactively invoice completed work to support healthy cash flow
Strategic Contribution
* Contribute to campaign planning, insights, and strategic thinking
* Identify opportunities to add value through new ideas or approaches
* Support pitch work and new business activity when required
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* 3+ years’ experience in an account management role within an advertising, marketing, or digital agency
* Strong project management skills with experience handling multiple deadlines
* Solid understanding of integrated campaigns (digital, social, print, media)
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
* Strong commercial awareness and confidence managing budgets
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Desirable:
* Experience working with public sector or regulated clients
* Familiarity with procurement processes or tender-led accounts
* Experience using project management systems
* A third-level qualification in advertising, marketing, or a related discipline
