Responsibilities for Estimator
* Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a project
* Estimate costs by looking at the entire project
* Present cost estimates to upper management
* Prepare reports detailing all of the costs going into a project
* Input cost data into company database
* Look at customer requirements for a project
* Work with the sales team to prepare proposals
* Communications with potential customers
* Assisting in scheduling of work and following up with phone calls
* Delegate work to capable crews.
Qualifications for Estimator
* 18 years old minimum
* 2 years of experience working as an estimator
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to put together a professional presentation
* Ability to create reports on costing data
* Amazing analytical and math skills
* Ability to work well on a team
* Very detail oriented
* Deep knowledge of how processes work
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Driven individuals with strong work ethic and attention to detail
* A willingness to learn and grow within an expanding company
* Experience or knowledge in a tree care industry or similar field/education
* Valid Driver's License
* Able to Stand all day and lift up to 50 pounds
* Preferred strong verbal and oral communication skills
* Knowledge of machinery and equipment maintenance
