Clinical Support Worker – Visa Sponsorship Available
Position: Clinical Support Worker at HMP Glenochil, NHS Scotland.

Responsibilities
* Provide daily high‑quality support to the nursing team.
* Work independently within competencies to a population with complex mental‑health, physical, psychological, substance‑abuse and social problems.
* Maintain high standards of patient care and lifelong learning.
* Comply with security procedures within the prison setting.
* Assist clinicians in delivering efficient and effective care at all stages of the healthcare journey to improve prisoners’ well‑being and rehabilitation.
Qualifications
* Competent venepuncture skills.
* Health‑care experience, preferably backed by an SVQ3 qualification or equivalent.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to improve clinical competencies.
Requirements & Compliance
* Must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
* Agenda for Change full‑time working week will change from 37 to 36 hours from 1/4/26 with a proportional increase in hourly rate to keep pay unaffected.
Visa Sponsorship
Applicants who need sponsorship to work in the UK can be considered for the Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visa pathways. Eligibility will be assessed individually after the interview and during pre‑employment checks. The position may provide a Certificate of Sponsorship where the salary meets the minimum required.
