Shop Manager - Full Time
Hours: 45 hours across 5 days per week.
Pay: £32,944 - £38,355 per annum.

We are looking to recruit a new shop manager for our shop in Heath Town, West Midlands. This is a permanent full-time position with shifts, 5 days from 7 each week. Please note that for full-time positions you will be required to be fully flexible in your availability for work throughout the week, including weekends.
Responsibilities
* Lead by example and participate in day-to-day tasks involved in running a busy shop.
* Motivate and inspire the team to run an efficient shop and provide excellent service to customers.
* Recruitment, induction and ongoing development of the team through coaching, mentoring and feedback, developing a pipeline of talent for the business.
* Be fully accountable for the shop, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly, and shop routines are followed to maintain a safe, clean, and tidy environment.
* Control key shop costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll to achieve KPIs, reporting to the area manager.
* Meet standards in customer service, cash handling, health & safety, stock management, merchandising and presentation.
Requirements
* A friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate people in a busy and challenging environment.
* People-focused with strong relationship-building abilities.
* Trustworthy and reliable as part of a small team.
* Experience as a manager or assistant manager.
* A full driving licence is desirable; if you don’t have one but meet other criteria, you are still welcome to apply.
