PE Teacher – Secondary School (Full-Time)
Location: Tonypandy (CF40)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced PE Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Tonypandy. The ideal candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, a passion for physical education, and proven classroom experience to inspire and motivate students across KS3 and KS4.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging PE lessons that promote fitness, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sport.
* Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
* Support extra-curricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school sporting events.
* Collaborate with colleagues to raise standards of achievement and pupil engagement.
Requirements:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in Secondary PE.
* Previous teaching experience in Tonypandy or surrounding areas.
* Strong classroom management skills and a positive, enthusiastic approach.
* Ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN/ALN.
* A commitment to supporting school life beyond the classroom through extra-curricular activities.
