To be successful as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you’ll need:

7. A relevant nursing qualification and registration
8. Excellent team working skills, a high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach - our units operate 24 hours 7 days a week, and our nursing staff work shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays and nights
9. A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice
10. The drive to continually push your own personal learning and development

The shifts are 12 hours on a rota basis to include nights, weekends and bank holidays. Shift times would be:

11. Day Shift = 07:30 > 19:45
12. Night Shift = 19:30 > 07:45

Staff will work a set shift pattern, such as

13. Week 1 = Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday
14. Week 2 = Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
