Your new company: A well-established and innovative engineering firm based in the surrounding area of Taunton is seeking a Finance Assistant to join its collaborative finance team. The company operates within the manufacturing space.
Responsibilities
* Support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, working across multiple currencies and international markets.
* Invoice processing, bank reconciliations, VAT and foreign exchange management, and assisting with audits and compliance.
* Liaise with suppliers and customers both in the UK and overseas, helping to resolve queries and support credit control.
What you\ll need to succeed
* Strong attention to detail, excellent numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Experience with accounting software and spreadsheets is essential, along with confident communication skills.
* You should hold an AAT qualification or have equivalent experience in a finance support role.
