Key Responsibilities and Expectations as an Apprentice
* Involvement in planning stimulating activities for the children in line with the EYFS
* Assist in delivering high-quality childcare with a professional and positive outcome for children and staff
* Build effective relationships with children, parents and team members
* Ensure each child’s individual needs are met
* Contribute to safeguarding of all children
* Work towards Busy Bees Education and Training apprenticeship standards with an expected completion within the agreed timeframe
* Be enthusiastic and proactive in developing own skills within the workplace
* Demonstrate commitment to continued professional development
* Communicate with the line Manager regarding activities and progress in the room
As an Apprentice, you will work with qualified staff who will support and mentor you while completing your apprenticeship. You will attend bespoke Learning & Development courses and have a Development Coach visit your nursery to guide you through the progression of your apprenticeship.
To apply you must be working with or caring for children (voluntary or paid). A Level 2 in Early Years, Maths and English (grade C/4 or above) or functional skills level 2 is desirable.
