A private dental practice located in Oswestry, Shropshire (UK), is looking for a full/part time Dental Receptionist to join our expanding Team.
Tasks
* Patient Scheduling & Communication: Booking, confirming, cancelling, or rescheduling appointments via phone or email, and managing the appointment diary.
* Front Desk Management: Greeting patients, checking them in/out, and ensuring the waiting area is clean and professional.
* Administrative Tasks: Maintaining patient records, updating medical histories, processing payments, handling billing, and sorting mail.
* Billing: Discussing payment options with patients.
* Practice Support: Managing inventory of office supplies, coordinating with dental labs, and supporting the Clinical Team.
* Compliance: Ensuring patient confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations regarding records
Requirements
* Strong communication, customer service, and IT skills (e.g. MS Office, Dentally software) to manage appointments, greet patients, and handle billing.
* GCSEs/A-levels, previous front-desk experience, and a positive, empathetic attitude are highly valued, with training provided on-the-job.
