Payments Technology Stability & Resiliency Director (Executive Director)
Duration - 7 months (possible extensions)
Location - London or Bournemouth (100% onsite)
We are seeking a senior leader to join our Payments Technology team as a Payments Technology Stability & Resiliency Director, responsible for driving high-quality testing, change assurance, and production stability across complex payments platforms.
In this role, you will:
Define and deliver the strategy for test integration and change assurance across payments technology
Lead global teams to provide business and client assurance testing across products including liquidity and account solutions
Drive adoption of AI, data-led validation, and end-to-end automation to improve speed, quality, and change confidence
Partner with CTO, product, and operations teams to ensure strong governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance
Proactively identify, assess, and resolve risks to minimise client and production impact
Establish and track KPIs and outcome-based metrics to demonstrate value and influence senior stakeholders
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration across a global organisation
Coordinate and chair regional forums to enhance stability, resiliency, and alignment across EMEA
What we're looking for:
10+ years' experience in payments technology and leadership roles
Strong background in software engineering, testing, change management, and large-scale technology delivery
Proven experience driving AI, automation, and data-led transformation initiatives
Deep understanding of payments products, particularly liquidity and account solutions
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership
Experience leading global, cross-functional teams in complex environments
