Job Opportunity: Weekend Lecturer (Business) — Part-Time
📍 London — Southall & Central London Campuses | Hours: Saturday and Sunday teaching with an additional day on campus in the week | Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum (pro rata for 24 hours/week over three days, based on a full-time equivalent of £45,000).

The Role
As a Lecturer, you will design, develop, and deliver engaging teaching across a range of business modules. You’ll support students both in person and online, contribute to assessment and quality assurance, and be involved in scholarship and curriculum improvement.
* Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in line with curriculum standards
* Develop and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning platforms
* Set, assess, and provide feedback on student assignments and exams
* Support students academically and pastorally, including those with learning support needs
* Engage with quality assurance processes, contribute to module and programme evaluations
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
* Lead modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where applicable
What We’re Looking For
* A Master’s degree in a relevant business-related field
* Experience teaching in Higher Education, with strong digital teaching capability
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of HE quality assurance and validation processes
* A flexible, student-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement
* Willingness to work towards HEA Fellowship (if not already held)
* PhD (or near completion) or equivalent industry experience
* Research or enterprise activity involvement
* Teaching qualification
* Experience leading modules or academic teams
