Bursary Administration Coordinator £24,107-25,983 per annum Full time 37 hours per week Cambridge Meridian Business Support is currently recruiting for aBursary Administration Coordinator to work in a Cambridge based college. About the role: As part of the wider Student Support & Safeguarding Team, coordinate the administration of all college bursaries in line with college and funding policies and procedures. The primary duties, tasks and responsibilities of this job role are to: Support the Student Advice & Safeguarding Team to undertake assessments for students applying to college bursaries including checking all required documentation and allocate funds as appropriate. Support the Student Advice & Safeguarding Team to ensure that bursary related enquiries via email, Microsoft teams, telephone and drop ins are addressed in a timely manner and signposted, if appropriate. Work closely with the colleges Finance Department to ensure that the administration of all bursaries are undertaken in a timely basis and at regular intervals throughout the year. Work alongside Student Support & Safeguarding Manager to annually review bursary policies and procedures in line with external guidance and legislation. Compile information for appeals against bursary applications and provide to Student Support & Safeguarding Manager in line with appeals processes To ensure that up to date bursary information is available for prospective and current students and college staff including on the college website. Support with reporting against bursary KPIs including providing data on applications and spend against allocations. Use College information systems (including PayMyStudent, Promonitor and EBS) to maintain accurate and auditable records. To attend and support Open Events as part of a team rota. Support with wider Student Services administration duties during peak period and as and when required. Contribute to the Student Services Hub front desk, dealing with student enquiries and signposting where appropriate. Undertake such other duties as may be required commensurate with the grade, at the initial place of work or at any other College site, as agreed with the Head of Faculty To actively advance equality of opportunity and foster good relations within the College community.
