Project Systems Manager - Infrastructure
Location: Leiston, Suffolk
Purpose of the role:
As a Project Systems Manager, you'll lead the information management team, set up the project CDE and core systems, and ensure compliance with client requirements. You'll implement information management protocols and controls according to GT BMS and contract specifications, ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of project documentation using Viewpoint and Field View. The ideal candidate will have extensive BIM and information management experience in construction, strong communication and organizational skills, and attention to detail. Experience with Viewpoint and Field View is preferred.
What you will be doing:
1. Act as key liaison with client Information Management/BIM Team
2. Coordinate, assure, and implement BIM requirements per EIR and BEP
3. Ensure adherence to company and project information management protocols (e.g., IMP, BEP)
4. Promote IM compliance and best practices across projects
5. Work with Central Support Team to align projects with BMS
6. Supervise Information Management Teams to ensure timely, organized information control across CDEs
7. Build effective relationships with project and BU support teams
8. Provide training and support for core system users, internal and external
About you:
1. Essential Main Contractor experience and knowledge of BIM principles, ISO19650 standard, and BIM Framework
2. Ability to implement client EIR and BEP requirements at the project level
3. Strong understanding of Document Control processes and technical configurations within systems
4. Relevant degree or experience in information management or a related field
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work at all organizational levels
6. IT literate, with experience in Microsoft applications, reporting, and prioritizing multiple tasks
