Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis

5 days a week on-site
1-3 months Temporary Assignment
£16-18/h depending on experience
Duties include;
* Process monthly payrolls accurately and on time
* Input, update and maintain employee payroll data (new starters, leavers, changes)
* Validate timesheets, hours worked, overtime, and absence records
* Calculate statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP, SHPP)
* Process deductions such as tax, NI, pensions, student loans and other adjustments
* Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies before final sign-off
* Generate and distribute payslips
* Manage queries from employees and managers, providing timely resolutions
* Support year-end processes, including P60s, P11Ds and payroll reporting
* Assist with pension submissions (e.g., AE files, pension uploads)
* Ensure payroll compliance with HMRC regulations and company policies
* Maintain confidential payroll documentation and audit trails
* Liaise with HR, finance and external providers where required
* Support payroll projects, process improvements and system updates
