Your new roleAs a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in managing material movements across the facility and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded on the ERP system. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Loading and unloading vehicles, receiving and checking deliveries, and reporting discrepancies before booking items into the system
2. Booking parts into the ERP system and ensuring prompt put‑away
3. Issuing materials to and from designated areas using the inventory management system
4. Scanning and filing all paperwork accurately
5. Preparing job kits by printing job lists, picking orders, wrapping, packing, labelling and shipping to internal and external customers
6. Ensuring all orders are dispatched within required deadlines
7. Reviewing and ordering factory consumables as needed
8. Maintaining all storage and stock areas in a safe, tidy and organised condition
9. Adhering to and promoting all safety procedures, including correct use of PPE and equipment
What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will bring:
10. Previous experience in a fast‑paced stores or warehouse environment
11. A valid forklift licence (desirable)
12. Strongputer literacy, including MS Office
13. Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills
14. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
