What You’ll Be Doing
* Designing roads, levels, drainage, and external works for both public (adoptable) and private realm schemes.
* Contributing to projects from early planning through to detailed design and delivery.
* Using your technical skills to support multiple projects, with guidance from senior colleagues when needed.
* Collaborating with clients, planning authorities, and national bodies such as the Environment Agency.
* Taking an active role in mentoring less experienced colleagues and representing BWB in technical discussions.
What You’ll Bring
* Civil engineering design experience, particularly in levels, drainage, and external works.
* Skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (or PDS with willingness to train on Civil 3D), MicroDrainage, and Microsoft Office.
* An understanding of multi-disciplinary projects and the drive to broaden your knowledge across sectors.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different audiences — from clients to colleagues.
* Commercial awareness and the confidence to represent the team externally.
* A proactive, 'self-starter' mindset with a collaborative approach.
