Overview
Knightlow C of E Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic teacher to join our friendly and supportive team in a vibrant school community, where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential and let their light shine. This is a full-time fixed term contract until February 2027 to cover the maternity leave of the current post holder.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be a lively and motivated teacher who has high expectations and a good understanding of how children learn; a good communicator who is well organised; someone who shares our values and can work collaboratively for the benefit of the children; and someone happy to engage in wider school activities, such as residential visits and fundraising events. The post also offers opportunities to develop expertise through shared CPD, team work and supporting a culture of reflective practice, with a willingness to lead a curriculum subject area.

School & Setting
Knightlow is a single form entry school set in beautiful and extensive grounds in the village of Stretton-on-Dunsmore, within easy reach of Coventry, Rugby and Leamington Spa. The school has a strong partnership with the Anglican church as a faith school, and we are committed to a rich and creative primary curriculum.

Role: Year 2 Class Teacher (Maternity Leave) – full-time
Salary: Teachers Main Scale
Contract: Fixed term until February 2027 to cover maternity leave
