Electrician
Location: Glasgow (must be able to commute or relocate before starting)

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team.
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across a variety of projects.
This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring all work meets regulatory standards and client specifications.
As our Electrician you will be responsible for:
* Performing electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations on various systems and facilities
* Conducting routine inspections and testing to identify issues and prevent breakdowns
* Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems, implementing effective solutions
* Installing, testing and commissioning new electrical equipment and systems
* Collaborating with other tradespeople and engineers to ensure safe and efficient work practices
* Working in challenging environments, including heights and confined spaces
* Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including test results and inspection reports
* Staying up to date with industry developments through ongoing training
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
* Minimum 2 years in electrical installation and maintenance
* Full UK Driving license
* Relevant electrical qualification
* Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (highly advantageous)
* Hands-on experience in residential, commercial, or industrial systems
* Competent in testing and inspection, including EICRs and PAT Testing
* Strong understanding of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)
* Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act
* Ability to identify faults and apply safe, effective solutions
* Excellent communication skills for customer and team interactions
* Familiarity with power tools and machinery safety features
