We are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to join our New Options Primary School - Bower Lodge in Dibden, Southampton.

£20,906.25 per annum
37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:30
Permanent, Term Time only
Start Date: September 2025

Responsibilities
* Support pupils with autism and other complex needs, adapting learning activities to individual learning journeys.
* Prepare learning materials and run classroom activities with hands-on support and some supervision.
* Support pupils’ emotional and physical needs, helping them engage with their education and develop as individuals.
* Collaborate with teachers and the school team to implement bespoke approaches for each pupil.
* Assist with supervision of pupils in different settings, indoors and outdoors as required.
* Contribute to a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment aligned with safeguarding policies.
Requirements
* Educated to GCSE grade C or above in Maths, Science and English.
About Us
Our New Options Primary School - Bower Lodge, located in Dibden, Southampton, has a capacity for 40 pupils catering for autistic young people aged 4 – 11. Options Autism has provided care and education to pupils with autism and related needs for over 16 years. As part of Outcomes First Group, we lead the sector in setting and delivering new approaches with measurable outcomes. In 2024, Outcomes First Group was certified as a ‘Great Place to Work’ for the fifth year running.
