Night Porter Overview
You will be working as a Night Porter with a wide range of responsibilities, such as:
· Welcoming late arriving guests and escorting them to their rooms;
· Assisting guests with luggage
· Providing advice on hotel facilities as well as local places of interest
· Valet parking cars
· Preparing snacks and serving food and drinks.
· Carry out Night Audit
Please note this is a night time role working 9 hours 8pm and 7.30am, 5 days out of seven. You may be required to work weekends.
Night Porter Key Attributes
· Clean, valid UK driving licence preferred.
· Possess a welcoming personality to make the Grand Hotel an experience to remember, whilst retaining the ability to be assertive when required.
· Have excellent English language skills, verbal and written.
· Be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required.
· You will have already gained experience within the hospitality or customer service industry.
