Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid has supported women and children affected by domestic violence and abuse for over 40 years. Could you be part of our team as we continue our mission to end domestic violence and abuse?
As the region’s leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls, BSWA offers a helpline, webchat, drop-in services, community support, and emergency accommodation in six refuges across the area.
Our projects support women in the criminal justice system, healthcare settings, and throughout the community, providing support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. We also have colleagues offering training and consultancy to businesses, health, and social care professionals to raise awareness of gender-based violence issues.
We are looking for like-minded women to join our enthusiastic team, all passionate about supporting women and children who have experienced domestic abuse and addressing the wider issues of violence against women and girls.
This role will assist the refuge manager with the day-to-day running of the refuge, developing and delivering frontline support, advice, and guidance to women and their children living in the refuge.
BSWA is a Disability Confident Employer. We encourage everyone to have an equal chance at being considered for our jobs. If you are unable to submit your application online or face other barriers, please contact our recruitment team at: [emailprotected].
