Programmatic Manager | Leading Global Media Network | Manchester (Hybrid)

The Role
Reporting to the Programmatic Director, our client is looking for an experienced programmatic specialist to take ownership of campaign planning, trading, and optimisation across a portfolio of high-profile client accounts. You will be the programmatic expert within your client teams, advising on strategy, producing media plans, managing campaign delivery end-to-end, and presenting results with clarity and confidence.
This is a role for someone who is technically strong but also commercially minded — someone who understands where programmatic sits within the wider media mix and can articulate its value to clients in a way that builds trust and drives results.
What You'll Be Doing
* Planning and executing programmatic campaigns across desktop, mobile, native, video, standard display, and rich media
* Trading across DV360, YouTube, Amazon, TradeDesk, Teads, and Yahoo DSPs
* Producing high-quality media plans and supporting rationale documents that demonstrate genuine programmatic expertise and innovation
* Acting as the programmatic specialist in client-facing meetings, communicating complex topics clearly and confidently
* Developing best-in-class reporting and post-campaign analysis that delivers meaningful insight
* Ensuring quality assurance across all campaign set-ups, pacing, and performance
* Managing and developing junior team members through delegation, training, and guidance
* Contributing to innovation projects within the programmatic hub that drive future opportunities for the agency and its clients
What They're Looking For
* 18 months+ hands-on programmatic trading experience
* Strong proficiency across DV360 and YouTube, with working knowledge of Amazon, TradeDesk, Teads, and Yahoo DSPs
* Solid understanding of the role of programmatic within the broader media mix
* Experience producing programmatic media plans and campaign rationale documents
* Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to clients and internal stakeholders alike
* Working knowledge of audience forecasting, reporting tools, and DSP audience insight tools
* People management experience or a clear appetite to develop in this area
* Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
