Your Role and Responsibilities
12. Support the Head chef to organise, plan and prepare meals ensuring that all home cooked food not only looks and tastes delicious but also reflects the preferences and dietary requirements of each resident.
13. Produce home cooked meals for the residents including specific dietary requirements such as textured food options, ensuring compliance with dietary standards
14. Comply with industry and Meallmore quality, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
15. You will be involved in menu development, tailoring around resident’s needs, likes and dislikes to ensure we deliver person-centred hospitality.
Skills & Requirements
16. Strong cookery skills and creativity in preparing home cooked nutritious meals for our residents
17. A personal and warm approach with a genuine interest of the well being of our residents.
18. Ability to work to deadlines meeting the needs of the residents
19. Great communication and interpersonal skills
20. Knowledge of food safety practices
21. Knowledge of nutrition, dietary needs and food allergies is desirable but not essential
22. A culinary qualification is desirable but not essential
