The Payroll Manager at QTS Group Ltd is responsible for leading and delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services across a multi-site workforce. This includes managing payroll for all employees, covering monthly and 2 weekly payrolls both costed and noncosted, and a CIS payroll of subcontractors. The role requires strong payroll governance expertise, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage high-volume, multi-frequency payroll cycles within a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Payroll Operations
* Manage end-to-end processing of monthly and weekly payrolls for 850+ employees.
* Manage and oversee Payroll team
* Oversee the CIS payroll for subcontractors, ensuring correct verification, deductions, and submissions.
* Ensure all payroll data is accurate, including new starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime, allowances, bonuses, and statutory deductions.
* Review and approve payroll outputs, ensuring accuracy before final sign-off.
* Maintain payroll calendars and ensure all deadlines are met without exception.
Compliance & Reporting
1. Ensure full compliance with UK payroll legislation, HMRC requirements, and CIS regulations.
